What is the full story on using NSAIDs to treat tendonopathies? Get balanced information on proper uses, adverse reactions, and alternative treatments.

Full Description:
Various nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are readily available to patients with neuromusculo-skeletal injuries. To avoid potential problems with their use, clinicians must be prepared to offer their patients valuable information on their indications, contraindications, effects of poly-drug interaction, and their advantages and disadvantages as part of a program of rehabilitative therapy.

This webinar addresses the unique features of NSAIDs, including why they are so popular, the risk factors associated with them, and how these drugs can alter the outcomes of conventional therapeutic intervention. Participants will evaluate the impact of NSAIDs on the treatment of bursitis, tendonitis and tenosynovitis, and soft tissue pain. The speaker will also share information on alternative interventions so that participants have options to present to their patients.
