How much do you really understand about trigger point dry needling? Get the facts from a certified expert about uses, pros and cons, and regulations.

Full Description:
Trigger point dry needling is a therapy technique that treats pain in muscle trigger points and nerves by inserting a thin needle into the skin and trigger point to “release” the taut bands of muscle tissue. This leads to decreased stress on the nervous system, decreased myofascial pain, improved mobility in muscles and joints, and improved blood flow in the muscles and joints of the trigger point areas. Trigger point dry needling can also be used to prevent soft tissue dysfunction that leads to injury caused by overuse during sports.

In this webinar, Dr. Jonathan Gallas explains the anatomy and locations of trigger points, addresses the pros and cons of trigger point dry needling, and reviews the requirements for its use.

Participants should not use this course content outside of the scope of their profession’s license or regulations.
