As mental and behavioral health professionals, we may feel challenged to stay positive, engaged, and joyful in our personal and professional lives. Sometimes clinicians start to experience symptoms of burnout due to life imbalance, client relational issues, or workplace stresses. 

This webinar draws attention to the warning signs of burnout, and what distinguishes it from compassion fatigue. Dr. Brancaleoni delves into the personal and professional factors that contribute to burnout and shares proven strategies for mitigating the effects of these factors. Her presentation also addresses therapeutic relationship and treatment challenges with clients based on the their specific clinical presentations.

DIOHN BRANCALEONI, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and life coach with over 20 years of professional experience. Her approach to psychotherapy, life coaching, and teaching is holistic and practical. She has worked in community mental health services, school psychology (special education), residential treatment (addictions/mental health), and equine facilitated psychotherapy. She offers dynamic lectures and workshops on topics related to positive psychology, mindfulness, and a mind-body-spirit approach to wellness. Dr. Brancaleoni is a member of the American Psychological Association, and currently maintains a private practice (Joyful Living Psychotherapy & Life Coaching) in St. Petersburg, Florida.
