Help your clients paint a picture of sobriety for their lives, with specific art interventions for each of the 12 steps.

Full Description:
About 23.5 million people in the U.S. seek treatment for illicit drug or alcohol abuse, often with the assistance of a “12 Steps” program. Recently, attention has been drawn to the benefits of integrating art therapy into the traditional 12 step approach. The creative process is the perfect way to explore the subconscious and gain a much deeper understanding of our personal motivations and how we respond to the world around us.

Whether the addiction is alcohol, drugs, food, sex, love, or work, elaborate systems have developed to justify and maintain addictive behaviors; including lying and rationalizing to manipulate family, friends, employers, and self. This webinar demonstrates specific art interventions to address these dynamics of addictive behaviors and assist clients in achieving and maintaining sobriety
