Earlier this year American Express launched the American Express Grow Global℠ program to help middle market companies (defined as businesses earning revenues between $10 million and $1 billion) grow internationally through exporting. Largely untapped and potentially lucrative, exporting represents a $928 billion opportunity for U.S. mid-sized firms over the next 10 years, yet only 5% currently export according to the Middle Market Power Index: Taking the Global Stage by American Express and Dun & Bradstreet.
The American Express Grow Global program is hosting its second webinar, “Sales Channels -- Building a Scalable Sales Engine Globally,” which will focus on four common types of sales channels, including: franchising/licensing, ecommerce, indirect and direct channels. Each sales channel has advantages and disadvantages; with fundamental tradeoffs between cost, complexity and degree of control. Ed will discuss:
