The Particle Tracing Module extends the functionality of the COMSOL Multiphysics environment for computing the trajectory of particles in fluids and electromagnetic fields, including particle-particle, particle-field, and fluid-particle interactions. A variety of different forces are allowed to act on the particles including electric, magnetic and collisional for electromagnetic applications, and drag, gravity, dielectrophoretic, thermophoretic etc. for fluid applications.
This webinar introduces particle tracing for applications such as flow visualization, mixing, particle separation, mass spectrometry, ion optics, beam physics, computing the ion energy distribution function and acoustophoresis. The webinar will end with a Q&A session.
