Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the United States, affecting millions of people. This webinar focuses on new and innovative ways to treat anxiety in individuals of all ages. We also discuss effective, ready-to-use tools that can be applied immediately for work with anxious clients such as Habit Reversal Training, Interoceptive Exposure, and Panic Control Treatment. Tips for therapeutic trouble shooting and areas of caution when working with anxious individuals are also covered.

Your Presenter:
CHRISTINE FRYDENBORG DARGON, PhD, has been working with children and families for 20 years in such areas as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and substance abuse. She is currently co-owner of Valley Counseling and Psychological Services (VCPS) in Sedona, Arizona. In addition to her private practice, she is currently on faculty at Grand Canyon University serving students in the Master of Counseling Psychology Program. Dr. Dargon received her Doctorate of Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, her Master of Science in Education in Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University with a focus in School Counseling, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Connecticut.
